50 Tips for Frugal Living

I practice many of these but never skimp on high quality home cooked meals (no processed or frozen foods).

Why live frugally? First, because it allows you to spend less than you earn, and use the difference to pay off debt, save or invest. Or all three. Second, because the less you spend, the less you need to earn. And that means you can choose to work less, or work more but retire early. Or take mini retirements. You have more options with a frugal lifestyle.

Yeah, i just read total money makeover by dave ramsey and he pretty much put it similar to that. if you are able to live below your means and bank money then you can pay cash for a new car or house even and then skip out on the interest and end up not needing nearly as much money.
