Nokia N95 GPS

Excellent demo of the GPS feature in the Nokia N95. At the end, the demo participant sends the map data to someone else who can then use the same instructions to join that person. It's certainly exciting!

But how do you get people to use technology like this when 1) this might just be proprietary to Nokia and 2) most people haven't even adopted messaging standards such as mms en masse? It could be years before features like this are widely adopted so that the social features become actually useful.
