iPod HiFi

I'm sure people were expecting much more than this from Apple as much of the comments I have read around about the introduction of this system have been fairly lackluster. I'm surprised that they didn't do more with the opportunity but perhaps the iPod HiFi innovates in terms of sound vs. concept or new features. Though it seems that Apple iPod white has become the new grey I think it might be a worthy addition to a small office like mine. Apple touts it's world-class acoustic design with large soundstage and wide frequency range, seamless iPod integration, Apple Remote, Analog/digital input and it's compact footprint. At $350US it starts to put itself into the same pricing as some nice small mini stereo systems. It might be worth looking at other complete systems before considering buying the iPod HiFi. That is unless the integrated dock is all that important to you. Available from Apple.
