Sultan Waterproof Backpack

I've long wished for a well designed bag that I could take on my travels around Asia which would protect the contents from the unpredictable weather here. It's pretty common to be struck by sudden rain storms. While that may or may not be much of a problem in the city if you want to take some of your tech. when out walking on a trail you risk damaging your investment.

The Sultan Waterproof is an all-weather backpack with large easy access external cargo pockets, urethane coated YKK zippers, large external wet-dry pocket, comfortable shoulder straps, daisy chain lash points, haul loop handle, waist strap, adjustable sternum strap, and unbreakable stainless steel hardware. Inside the main compartment is a fully waterproof liner with high frequency RF welded seams and a watertight roll-top closure.

As an added bonus this very capable bag looks great. The downside? The back of the bag appears to rest pretty close to your back which means if you are doing any exertion at all you will likely sweat. That's a drag when you are in the city and no fun at all if it happens to you while you are trekking in Northern Vietnam. $165.00 on the Chrome web site.
