I wish we had one of these when we were lugging around diapers and such.
This is a fun bag for over the shoulder. It has a nice wide strap for comfort with two extra pockets to store stuff in. The inside fabric is cotton. The brown stripes on the outside are cotton and the green stripes are velvet.

Interesting concept from Dutch design group XS-M-L. Their Square Bag is a bag to carry or though unintentionally a bag to wear. The kidney bean opening matches the natural contour of your arm. There are a number of other bags in this series which may be of interest including the circle and paper bag single. Playing with traditional paper materials and shapes seems to be popular of late. Part of the Double range, this large horizontal shoulder bag has hidden extendable double handles, so that it can be carried in hand or worn as a shoulder bag. It's unique and practical design follows in typical Mandarina Duck fashion, continuing to lead the market in innovative design.
The handles could be cool or a curse if you carry heavy gear. I've always loved the design and build of Mandarina Duck bags. Now if only they would innovate on price as they are a bit expensive to be an impulse buy on my meager earnings.

Tom Bihn's excellent Large Café Bag in colors Black/Wasabi, Black/Cayenne, and Black/Steel is now in-stock and ready to ship. When coupled with a vertical soft cell, the Large Café Bag is perfect for carrying a smaller laptop like my venerable Powerbook 12" or the newer 13" MacBooks. As all of my Tom Bihn bags have stood up to years of abuse when traveling, I can think of fewer other bags I could recommend more. $55.00 from Tom Bihn.

I'm doing some quick research for my wife who is in dire need of a new bag. Though, I have a tendency towards the practical and more 'masculine', the unique look of these shoulder bags caught my eye. She errs on the practical as well but I think she will agree that these are worth a look. Designed by Artice Studio, a company that operates in the province of Quebec, Canada these bags are handmade of 100% cotton with different approaches to the carrying strap. Found here but available from the The Posch Shop
