I'm a big fan of Porter bags, as seems every kid on a motorcycle around these parts, and while I won't argue that this is their best design effort to date, the Black Beauty iPhone is a worthy addition to an overflowing closet of bags. You can use it as a sleeve and attach it to your bag, backpack, or your belt. I'm going to head down to my local dealer over the weekend and check it out, other wise you might try ordering from The-Glade.

I love the pebble grain leather and, what is now becoming standard for quality cases like this, a pull tab for easy phone retrieval.

Made from used truck tarpaulins, this sleeve from Freitag (one of my favourites) protects your iPhone from scratches and 'crushes'. Features a very useful quick lift-up tab to get your Iphone into play as quick as possible and a 'velvety' lining that magically cleans your phone. Available in a multitude of colours.

Netbooks need love too. Wrappers has new luxury ultrasuede, polyurethane and Alcantara sleeves for netbooks from £28.00. I haven't seen many cases of this class for these type of devices so these are worth considering as a means of protecting your netbook investment. Of course they look amazing too.
Wrappers also has new no logo products for aluminum MacBook and MacBook Pro from £15.00 and a limited number of black ultrasuede iPhone sleeves lined with Paul Smith of London multistripe for £19.00. Great stuff.
All of Wrappers sleeves are made 'ethically' in Oxford, England and because they aren't mass produced you can ask for some customizations like embroidery, tag, or logo. More background here.

I'm digging this case from Incase. It's available in gold, silver, copper, and gun metal in a matte finish. Matte good. Glossy bad. Anyway, here are some details from Incase: ' ... the Slider Case for iPhone 3G is made of hardshell plastic and features a minimal wall thickness of 1mm. Interior rubber guardrails provide shock absorption in addition to impact and scratch protection'.

I would prefer a case more flush with the phone but this does look great.

For those who like to carry your phone on your belt, like some kind of gadget gunslinger, then the universal case series from Covertec will save you from repeatedly buying new cell phone cases whenever you purchase a new phone. The flap enclosure allows for a range of sizes for a good fit. The cases are made of high quality, full grain cowskin nappa leather, inner part in heavy duty 'synthetic' material. The size pictured above fits the iPhone or other similar sized smart phone. Available at the Covertec store for 29 EUR.

Finally a case that will both protect your iPhone, it's screen, and let you use it at the same time. Ivyskin's Xylo Touch Thru (T2) hard-shell polycarbonate case accomplishes this feat of magic by using Surface Xylo Wave technology which claims to send ultrasonic signals from your fingers through the clear shield. Sounds good and you can't go wrong when the price is $35.00. More information.
