The Stud Wallet

The Stud Wallet by SouthernField Industries is a small, simple, slim & compact wallet for the minimalist. This wallet is hand sewn with artificial sinew thread, and has just only one slot for your cards and folded cashes.
An interesting alternative to the Malcom Fontier Mojito or perhaps Bellroys excellent Note Sleeve. I like it but prefer a bit more organization.
Handmade in Japan of vegetable tanned cow leather.
Bellroy. Brand Clip
Bellroy, makers of fine wallets and advocates of improving how and what we carry, have a great short film for the release of their new collection. I think the Micro Sleeve looks fantastic.
The Very Protective Wallet

Bellroy sent me a wallet late last year and I have been using it ever since. Their products are durable, work well and importantly, look really great. I share allot of bags on Popwuping but only a few do I consistently come back to recommend again and again. Bellroy is one of them. I do so not just for the quality of their craft but also for their passion for all things "carry"; you just know they are going to keep improving over time.
I have their Slim Sleeve Wallet but here is what they have to say about their zippered and water-resistant Very Protective Wallet:
We get taught at an early age about the importance of protection. 'Don't forget your helmet!' Mum would yell as you walk out the door to go ride. While the Very Protective Wallet won't protect your head, it will protect everything in your wallet against those things like sand, dust, gum and even the odd water splash.
They even have a great stop-motion video for you to check out.

Bellroy Hide & Seek Wallet
Bellroy has produced a nice little video detailing their excellent Hide & Seek Wallet. Made from vegetable tanned leather the wallet features 4 quick access card slots and a protected section for to hold less used cards and business cards. I like how it hides your bill count from prying eyes.
Hard Graft Card Case

This slim wallet has all that those of us who like to carry light need; great looks, size and simple organization. But as much as I love Hard Graft's work, and the materials they use, I can't help wondering if their use of wool works with a wallet of this size. Leather would age better and synthetics would last. I'm nitpicking - like all the accessories in their catalogue it looks great.
I'm hoping for their fold wallet for iPhone for Christmas.
Temono Pipi

From the experts in all things carry comes a quick review of the Temono Pipi, a leather wallet handmade in Melbourne.
I guess the main drawcard with Temono wallets is the love that goes in to them. Every wallet is made to order, completely by hand, by the son of a saddle maker. It means you'll usually have to wait a couple of weeks for it, but the bonus is that you get to really play with configurations. This is a wallet for your emotions. It feels amazing, shows it's craft well, and is incredible value considering the love that has gone into it. It is a craft wallet though, and so does not use tricks like skiving to reduce seam bulk and stacking density. That means there are smaller and more efficient options from non-craft makers.
Very well said.
With the exception of the wallet I picked up in Bangkok for my passport I'll never put anything in my pocket larger than a jimi. But I do love great craft and these look amazing.
Take a look at the rest of their catalogue as well. I love their hippo notebook cover - very similar to what I use on a daily basis. The te. pon would make a beautiful pouch for your mobile.

Veja Wallet

Included in vela's 2010 fall/winter collection entitled "project number two " are these beautiful vegetable-tanned leather wallets with organic cotton lining. The strap is useful accent. Love the available colours.
The small sized wallet might lend itself to a more comfortable back pocket carry. If given the space we tend to fill it.
Wood Wallet

Wood Wallet, by Israeli designer Itay Laniado, uses a credit card as a lid for a small chamber for money bills and coins. It has room for 4 cards on top of each other. Though they can often be a bit frustrating when hurriedly trying to grab a bill at the cash register, I'm a big fan of slim wallets and this makes for a nice alternative to my often used Jimi.
Billykirk Passport Wallet

I should have added this to the collection of passport wallets I wrote last week. Made by the much loved Billy Kirk, this passport wallet features beautiful hand-stitched details, hand-oiled leather, and looks that will only improve with time. The interior pocket has a loop closure to keep cash, tickets, and other ephemera in place. I'm certain I would prefer the black to the natural vegetable-tanned pictured above, but what a beauty!
5 Passport Wallets
A small collection of some the finest leather passport wallets I have comes across recently.
Patti Passport Wallet

The Patti Passport Wallet by Rowallan of Scotland features 4 credit card slots, passport compartment and an exterior of grain-bonded leather. Handmade and designed in Glasgow, Rawallan products are imbued with a quiet sense of chic while helping to make our modern lifestyle a little bit easier.
