Pocketgrey Laptop Sleeve

Designed by questionwhy and produced by Fair Trade producer groups in Nepal, Pocketgrey is a protective sleeve for laptops, perfect for keeping them scratch free. Handstitched from 100% natural wool, it opens out a contrast color workstation complete with mouse mat and writing space. If the beauty and utility of Pocketgrey aren't enough you can feel good that your purchase helps provide work opportunities, skills training and fair wages to marginalised men and women in Nepal. Fantastic idea.
LaCie Coat

At times it seems everyone is making bags for mobile devices. Designed by Sam Hecht the LaCie Coat is meant to cover 10.2"-17″ netbook/laptop screens and protect them from minor scrapes and bumps. It's made with a double layer of Neoprene and a soft inside lining. The LaCie Coat comes with a zippered inside accessory pocket, perfect to store accessories or a power supply. This might make for a good sleeve in which to carry Apple's soon to be shipping iPad.
Love the design and color. Hate the materials.

Polished black bridle envelope

Spooner and Watts' polished black bridle envelope is suede lined with popper closure and is made to order with the option of a personalised monogram embossed blind or in silver foil. Understated and elegant, I cannot think of a better way to carry a Macbook Air. Only 20 editions are being made available.

Harris Tweed 15" Laptop Case

Forget those plain patterned cloth and wrap your laptop in the handwoven luxury of tweed. This looks better than the suit jacket I used to own. This gray Herringbone Harris Tweed case fits your 15 inch laptop and features a Riri zipper with ring pull. Black canvas lining.
10 Wonderful Laptop Sleeves

Laptop sleeves have long been your first line of defense against nicks, scratches and bumps. Many people today are looking beyond the practical and want to have well designed, beautiful sleeves in which to carry their laptop. Here is a selection of wonderful laptop sleeves that not only protect your investment but help you express your own personality and style.
Byrd & Belle 13 inch Laptop Sleeve

A simple and clean sleeve with a modern looking twist on more traditional materials. Byrd & Belle represents the kind of work I appreciate - unique form, focused function, and great materials. This sleeve for the 13" unibody Macbook Pro features a snug fit, a closure with a heavy duty graphite snap, and a body made from thick grey felted wool. Though not always practical, felted materials are by far my favourite for use in any bag.
Shuky Leather Unibody MacBook Sleeve

Australian company Shuka has taken the manilla envelope concept, introduced with the MacBook Air, to a new level with it's leather sleeve for the 15" Unibody MacBook. Looks beautifully crafted and I love the contrast between the red latch and the leather body.
Incase EO Collection

Simplicity seems to be the key word in bags lately. While I am unsure about the color, the modern space age styling and innovative fabrics make for a unique and attractive line of bags. Featuring water, dirt, and smell resistant NanoSphere fabric by Schoeller Textiles of Switzerland, the new Incase EO Collection includes messenger, duffel, and overnight bags. Add a laptop sleeve and their neat modular accessory pouches and you have all the bags you might need for casual travel.
Fatboy Bags

Beautiful minimalist design at an affordable price.
The Fatboy bags are a colorful unisex collection for a very broad range of ages. Very strong materials with environmental friendly coatings were mixed with elements from the aviation and extreme sports industry. Parachute buckles; seatbelts, scuba diving zippers and noiseless Velcro are some examples for the original and highly detailed finishing on the outside and inside of the bags.
Steven Harrington MacBook Pro Sleeve

While I did somehow pull off a masters degree in art most of my training is in music which may be why I often read the art statement of many artists with bewilderment. Steven Harrington, whose work I like allot, has produced art for various sleeves and cases in the incase catalogue. They describe his art as ‘contextual objectivism’ which feel far too deep a write up for something unique and that simply looks great. The usual incase quality for this sleeve is apparent including the very important YKK zippers.
