A simple clean handcrafted leather case in which to carry your laptop. Bythread's Journalcase is available in 2 sizes to fit your 13 or 15 inch, 3 colors, and features a foamed inner layer for protection. Space is tight in this bag so while perfect for a trip to the café, dedicated road warriors might look elsewhere.

Their Shouldercase has received allot of attention lately but I prefer the look of this one except the green -- never could I imagine recommending green leather.

Clark & Mayfield Moreland Laptop Bag

It's not difficult to find reasonably priced bags these days but finding the same with great design that suits your personal style can still be a challenge. I've shared a couple bags from Clark & Mayfield and I've always come away impressed with their products.

Their Moreland Laptop Messenger Bag is possesses beautiful clean lines from the bottom of the bag through the middle to the strap. I like how the strap is integrated with the rest of the bag as it helps to create a more cohesive look. The bag features a well-padded laptop compartment, plenty of pockets and that shoulder strap with a 15"-21" drop length. I'm partial to their steel gray but the bag is available in blue and green as well.

Lauri Delaczay started Clark & Mayfield with her husband Barry to simplify life by providing truly functional, yet fashionable bags to use everyday from home to work and school. Their belief is that functional products need not be unattractive, something I think we can all agree with.

Attache Case in Wool

I'm not a big fan of pleats on anything, at least with respect to mens accessories or apparel, but I do like the look of leather and wool together. And I can appreciate the quality of materials in this custom attache case in wool with heavy duck canvas. It's a beautiful piece from Minneapolis based sketchbook. The Attache Case is made to fit your laptop and has a convenient pocket in the front for all your other stuff. I always like the look of leather strap and buckle closures.

Billykirk X Opening Ceremony Waxed Laptop Satchel

From a collaboration between Billy Kirk and Opening Ceremony is the last example, for this week at least, of waxed materials in yet another great bag.

billykirk sets itself apart by employing amish leather workers who hand craft their products, as well as using vegetable dye that lends to beautiful natural aging of their products. this bag features a waxed cloth body with a leather bottom, leather tophandle, zip, and removable strap, as well as a removable leather identification tag. bag closes with a front buckle.

Haglöfs Laptop Dry Bag

I love the look of these waterproof laptop case from Haglöfs. I also love that they are nearly perfect for the type of weather I sometimes experience in my travels. There are a number of laptop bags in this category but I haven't seen with the Laptop Dry Bag's minimalist size and style.

Lightweight and robust. Ziploc and velcro openings. 15-17 inch laptops.

Made with 40 denier polyamide 66 ripstopfabric with good abrasion and tearingstrength. Double TPU-coating (thermoplastic urethane) which is excellent for RF and heat welding.

The laptop dry bag is available from Haglöfs or Ripe.
