Wool iPad Case

 Wool iPad Case

Look ma no seams! Or buttons, snaps or other extraneous doodads that threaten to scratch your favourite device you never realized you needed. Made in Japan of wool this iPad sleeve is not only perfect for keeping your iPad dressed in style in comes in a variety of bright colours. Designed by Kazuma Yamaguchi for ABITAX.

They have a little note at the bottom stating how thick wool absorbs shock -- I think I'll take their word for it.

Lounge Case for iPad 2

Lounge Case for iPad 2

A bit like a bean bag chair for your iPad, venerable Incases's Lounge Case looks pretty useful if you get tired holding or balancing your iPad on your legs all day. That is until you want to take it somewhere in which case that hump on your iPad might make transporting a bit of a challenge. I haven't used one but I assume they snap out of the plastic housing quickly and easily. I wonder if the inside material has 'memory'. One of the advantages of the tabs or flaps their description positions the product against is that they are usually quick consistent in their position. It might be a pain if you are adjusting the viewing angle at each sitting.

Happy Covers for iPad

I think these look like allot of fun. Happy Covers for iPad allow you to carry your iPad inside your favourite bag while protecting it from dust, scratches and dirt. There is even enough room to include Apple's smart cover if you are so inclined. I'm sure the build quality and materials are fine and all but it's the cute illustrations that make this convenient sleeve a great a way to transport your iPad.

Celine Attaché

Celine Attaché

This looks like it might make for a great looking case for one or two iPads for the 'busy executive' or bag conscious 'fashionista'. I don't know anything about the case because I found it on Tumblr where there is never any useful metadata or links to source, a practice that drives me nuts.

Booq iPad2 Agenda

Booq iPad2 Agenda

I keep thinking how useful this combination of iPad and notepad protected by a nice case would have been when I was forced to sit in meetings half the day many years ago. I could have entertained myself on the sly.

Booq's marketing speak: "The Booqpad agenda combines iPad 2 case and notepad into one product, making it the ideal solution to create, store, review or present the next hot idea. Keeping a pen or stylus, business cards, cash or tickets close to your iPad and written notes has never been more convenient".

Looks like it would fit right in, in most corporate meeting rooms. Booq sells paper refills but I assume you could source your own pads with the paper of your choice.

A great case to bridge analog and digital productivity.

OldCalgary felt iPad 2 sleeve

OldCalgary felt iPad 2 sleeve

Thank you OldCalgary for following me on twitter as otherwise I may not have found your wonderful products.

OldCalgary's iPad 2 Sleeve is handcrafted in America of German wool felt. I think I have written at least a dozen times as to why I love the material and much of what I have seen made with it but OldCalgary has written a wonderfully succinct message worthy of sharing:

Why wool felt?

Simple. It's durable, water resistant, and environmentally friendly. Unlike leather and synthetic materials, there is no animal slaughter or pollution involved with the production of wool felt. It's biodegradable, naturally fire-resistant, and recyclable.

They left out how great it looks and feels.

Careerbags Leather iPad Sleeve

Careerbags Leather iPad Sleeve

Long time Popwuping supporter Careerbags shared with me a few images of their new line of sleeves for the iPad. These Careerbags branded sleeves are made of leather and lined with a soft anti-scratch micro fiber to help rid your screen of all the finger prints that never seem to go away. Leather sleeves and the iPad look good together and I think these look great.
