Wood & Faulk Northwesterner Bag

Gorgeous looking bag from Wood & Faulk, perfect for traveling. Love the look and that leather bottom is I bet almost industructible - of course, with use, bags like this become handsome with age. If only I could say the same. Classic styling, heavy-duty construction, and an interior opening of 19.5" (thats about 49.5cm for the rest of us) with plenty of room inside for a few iPads. I prefer a strapped bag when travelling but that's my idiosyncrasy.

Coal Tommy Trip Bag

Property Of... Coal Tommy Trip Bag is made of wax coated outer fabric with heavy leather handles and cotton ribstop lining. This small duffle features my favourite heavy duty yak zippers and two super useful pockets on the front and back. It's not a big bag but perfect for carrying your daily essentials. Not a unique design but it works well for me.

Property of... is a collection of men's bags & accessories that was launched in autumn 2006 by cafe owners & design collaborators Peter Teo & Richard Chamberlain.

Alex Duffle

It's the materials and the wrap around zip enclosure that carry this clean 'function led' duffle from property of... . Made with wax treated canvas and leather bottom and trim this bag will last a lifetime (it's priced accordingly). The Alex Duffle also features a leather carrying handle, two external side pockets with hidden zip and snap closure pockets, detachable adjustable cotton webbing shoulder strap, cotton twill lined with four internal zipping organizational pockets.

Orange nylon weekender

I should have included this in my recent collection of weekenders. Though this particular colour is far too loud for my tastes the shape of the main compartment and plenty of side pockets make Jew Crews weekender a great choice for a quick getaway. Especially true if you like to keep your gear organized. Made with rugged nylon twill, with classic styling, and finished with rugged web handles and leather trim. Alloy metal hardware (boohoo). Nice.

Y3 Logo Gym Bag

I love the texture apparent in the material of this rectangular duffle from y-3. The Logo Gym Bag features a zippered patch pocket with eyelet detail on the front, double bound carrying handles, uninspiring rubber buckles, adjustable shoulder strap and a single zip compartment with inside zip pocket.

Sold out at this source but you should be able to find it elsewhere with some effort.

Jack Willis Edenham Canvas Bag

Relive your varsity days with this iconic bag from Devon based Jack Willis. Made with 100% canvas with antique brass hardware, this bag like much of the work from this brand draws inspiration from British sporting, military and 'country pursuits' traditions. Their khakis look fantastic as well and I would love to see the look on my wife's face if I walked out the door wearing a pair of Halesworth Chino's in Powder Pink.

I love the color and style of this basic bag. The price not so much.

Denham Tool Canvas Leather Bag

Though poorly art directed in the photo above this bag by Denham would be a great looking general purpose alternative to the business brief. Inspired by a 'Maisons bag', the Tool bag features a metal clamshell enclosure and a beautiful leather and canvas construction. Without a shoulder strap it might seem impractical but you aren't going to be loading this bag with a ton of gear.

Sperry Top-Sider Duffle Bag

I've never considered denim blue for use in anything other than jeans but I do appreciate this smart looking casual duffle from Sperry. Just don't ask me to wear white pants to match. Not much in the way of features to mention other than a nice zipper pull, soft fabric and the ability to machine wash. It looks fine now but after a couple washings it's going to look much better. At $29 it's a steal.
